Congratulations to our 2021 Creative Futures Recognition Award Winners

Each year Autism Queensland recognises the outstanding achievements of individuals on the autism spectrum, parents/carers, professionals, schools, businesses, community organisations, volunteers and others through our Creative Futures Recognition Awards. In 2021 we congratulate the following winners and special commendees.

Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young PSM, Governor of Queensland, hosted the 2021 Creative Futures Recognition Awards Ceremony at Government House on Friday 3 December, International Day of People with Disability. Her Excellency, who is Autism Queensland’s Patron, presented trophies and certificates to those finalists who were in attendance.

Individual Achievement Award

Special Commendation: Madeleine McTernan, James Anderson

Parent/Carer Award

Winner: Cynthia Farrelly

Professional Achievement Award

Winner: Leanne Reginato, Sherwood State School

Special Commendation: Zoe Martin, Roshni Dullaway (Cairns West State School)

School/Community Award

Winner: Social Studio

Special Commendation: Footworks Dance Academy, Wheelnutz Garage, Brisbane Paralympic Football Program

Patronage Award

Winner: goa
