Open Days – AQ Rockhampton & Gladstone

Autism Queensland's Gladstone and Rockhampton centres have proudly delivered specialist autism services to local communities for many years, including groups for children ages 2-6 years.
We are excited to announce enrolments for the 2025 intake for the EarlyAQtion Early Childhood Groups are now open, and both centres will host Open Days in August and September for families and early childhood professionals wishing to learn more about this specialist service for young autistic children.
These small groups help young children up to school entry age to develop the skills necessary for successful participation in home and community, and to transition into the next stage of their education. They are holistic, family-focused and transdisciplinary, with all areas of your child’s development addressed, and our staff providing expertise and input across all areas of functioning.
Open Days Schedule
Rockhampton – The John Villiers Centre of Excellence
373 Lakes Creek Road, Koongal
- Wednesday, 28 August: 9am – 11am
- Wednesday, 11 September: 9am – 11am
Gladstone – 803 Glenlyon Rd, Glen Eden
- Friday, 30 August: 9am – 11am
- Friday, 13 September: 9am – 11am
The Open Days are an excellent opportunity for families, early childhood providers, and early childhood partners to visit our facilities, meet our dedicated staff, and learn more about how our EarlyAQtion Early Childhood Groups can support the development of young autistic children in these regions.
