COVID-19 update

Current face mask restrictions have been extended to 6am Friday 30 July for people in South East Queensland and anyone who has visited the region in the last 14 days.

Impacted areas include: City of Brisbane, Moreton Bay Regional Council, City of Gold Coast, City of Ipswich, Lockyer Valley Regional Council, Logan City, Noosa Shire Council, Redland City, Scenic Rim Regional Council, Somerset Regional Council, Sunshine Coast Regional Council.

If you are currently accessing an Autism Queensland service in  SEQ please note the following:

  • Masks to be worn by staff and visitors to all sites (children and students are not required to wear masks)
  • Temperature screening required at South East Queensland sites and essential visitors only are permitted to these sites.

Anyone attending our services who has been in any of the contract tracing locations as advised by Queensland Health during the relevant times, please notify your therapist or the centre manager, and follow the advice in the public health alert regarding self-isolation and testing.

Additionally, anyone with any COVID-19 symptoms, no matter how mild, should get tested immediately and isolate until you receive a negative result. Symptoms include fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, fatigue or loss of smell and/or taste.
