AQ offers practical, easy-to-understand webinars for parents and carers, delivered online throughout the year—usually during school terms. These autism-specific sessions are co-developed by specialists and people with lived experience, grounded in current, evidence-based practice, and designed to support you in your day-to-day. Webinars are available in a range of formats and always include time for questions and discussion. (Please note: ticket costs apply. NDIS funding may be used, if applicable).

Our autism-specific parent coaching provides personalised support to help you better understand and connect with your child and advocate for their needs within the community and their educational settings. Work one-on-one with experienced professionals who can guide you through challenges, build on your child’s strengths, and support positive outcomes at home, in the community, and beyond. Early Childhood Intervention, Therapy & Other Individual Supports (via Telepractice):

AQ offers supports tailored to your child’s unique strengths, needs, and developmental stage. Our experienced team works with children and families to build skills, confidence, and meaningful outcomes in everyday life. Parents have found that online supports are just as effective as, if not more than, face-to-face therapy services. (Please note: fees apply. NDIS funding may be used, if applicable).

PlayConnect+ Playgroups:

PlayConnect+ offers FREE, autism-informed playgroups for children with disability or developmental concerns and their families (your child does not need a formal diagnosis). PlayConnect+ currently offers 4 x online groups where families connect, learn, and play from the comfort of their home, perfect for those in remote and regional areas. These fun, inclusive groups are facilitated by experienced staff and open to families across Australia.

AQ School Distance Education:

AQ School’s Distance Education (DE) program supports autistic students in Years 3–8 (looking to expand in 2026) who may find traditional schooling environments challenging, or for those living in regional and remote areas. DE is delivered out of our Sunnybank Hills site, but enrolment is open to families across Queensland.

DE is delivered by a team of specialist teachers and therapists, the program offers a flexible, individualised learning experience tailored to each student’s strengths, needs and goals. Students take part in regular online classes and one-on-one check-ins, with access to therapy supports such as occupational therapy, speech pathology and psychology. Our team works closely with families to create a supportive, autism-specific approach to learning and encourages social connection through virtual groups and events.

I am a professional supporting an autistic child in the early years

Kindergarten Inclusion Service:

We are proud to work with the Queensland Department of Education to deliver this FULLY-FUNDED service to Queensland Approved Kindergartens (including state delivered kindergartens). Our team offer on-demand support, workshops, and resources to empower and upskill educators in kindergarten programs to create a welcoming place so all children can learn in ways that work best for them.

Positive Behaviour Guidance:

As part of the Queensland Government’s Early Childhood Guidance program pilot, educators and teachers in early childhood settings can access on-demand advice, foundational supports, webinars, and tailored resources to guide positive behaviour within thier setting. This is a FULLY-FUNDED service that aims to enhance the skills, confidence and knowledge of early childhood teachers and educators in using positive behaviour guidance strategies in their settings.

Early Years Inclusion Service:

Available to early childhood settings seeking individualised support from a consultant with expertise in supporting success for neurodivergent and autistic children, their families, and the staff supporting them. We offer online and/or face-to-face services. Travel fees may apply.

Our service provides you with:

  • Coaching, mentoring and specialised training.
  • Guided practice in your setting with professional conversations and a reflection on practice.
  • Resource growth and development.
  • Provide education to your staff and setting about autism, neurodivergent learners and universal design for learning.

(Please note: fees apply. Funding options may include Kindy Uplift, Inclusion Support Innovative Solutions project, NDIS, or self-funded).

I am a professional supporting an autistic child in the school years

School Advisory Service:

This FULLY-FUNDED service takes place at schools (face-to-face or via video conferencing) across Queensland and aims to provide information, advice, support and individualised strategies to support the educational outcomes of autistic children. Our therapists and teachers visit eligible students from Prep to Year 12 in their education setting (State Schools, Independent Schools, Catholic Education Schools). Please note: requests must be submitted by the school.

Inclusive Education Consultancy:

Available to schools and early childhood settings seeking on-going support from a consultant with expertise in inclusive practices for neurodivergent learners and autistic children.

Your consultant can:

  • Provide direct support for students with learning differences.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring of school staff.
  • Assist in the development of Individual Plans and Positive Behaviour Support Plans.
  • Assist with planning curriculum adjustments that align with the NCCD requirements.
  • Design, implement and monitor environmental adjustments in collaboration with school staff.
  • Provide education to the school about autism, neurodivergent learners and universal design for learning.
  • Collaborate with school-based therapists and psychologists.
  • Support parents in understanding their child’s specific learning needs.

(Please note: fees apply. Funding options may include school’s NCCD funding (at principal’s discretion).
