Early Childhood Intervention

Early diagnosis followed by structured, individualised early intervention can make a significant difference in the lives of young children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Autism Queensland offers a range of early intervention services for young children. Developed and delivered by therapy and education professionals with expertise in ASD, they focus on key elements including behaviour, developmental and social skills and family-based interventions to meet the needs of children and their families. These services are delivered from our centres in Brisbane, Gladstone, Rockhampton, Mackay and Cairns.

Please note there are fees for all services however families may use their NDIS funding (if applicable) to pay for them. Rebates may also be available through Medicare and private health insurance, please ask us about this.
