AUDIENCE
For anyone who is—or knows someone who is—AuDHD
ABOUT
AuDHD (Autism and ADHD) is not a formal diagnostic term but rather a shorthand for individuals who meet the criteria for both diagnoses. AuDHD represents a unique neurodivergent profile where the characteristics of autism and ADHD intersect, leading to a distinct experience. Recent research suggests that up to 30–80% of autistic individuals also meet criteria for ADHD, and vice versa—making AuDHD more common than many realise. This workshop explores what it means to live at this intersection, offering practical tools and affirming insights.
- AuDHD intersection – understanding the differences and commonalities of Autism and ADHDÂ
- Self-advocacy and authenticity: identifying needs, setting boundaries, and confidently communicating who you areÂ
- Recognising impacts without pathologizingÂ
- Advocating for your authentic self in schools, workplaces, and relationshipsÂ
Led by an AuDHD woman with lived experience, this session offers understanding, empowerment, and connection for anyone who is—or knows someone who is—AuDHD.Â
