Parents/carers, professionals working with neurodivergent people
ABOUT
Behaviours of concern can be highly stressful for neurodivergent people and those around them. Therefore, it is essential parents, carers and professionals understand the underlying causes so they can provide effective support.
In this interactive webinar, we’ll delve into the possible reasons behind these behaviours and introduce positive, proactive strategies for better understanding and supporting neurodivergent people.
Participants will gain insights into the underlying reasons behind behaviours of concern. They will learn about the impact of stress on behaviours; and explore proactive approaches to reduce behaviours of concern.
This introductory webinar is suitable for all participants and forms a strong foundation for understanding behaviour.
We recommend those people interested in deepening their knowledge and expanding their toolkit also attend our advanced workshop, Putting Positive Behaviour Support into Practice. (Not currently scheduled.)
