Supporting Children National Guideline Community Consultation

The guideline will support families to make informed choices when accessing services, and provide professionals with a set of recommendations to guide ethical and effective service delivery. The recommendations will be based on the best available research and a comprehensive community consultation process.

Autism CRC is leading the development of a National Practice Guideline for supporting children on the autism spectrum and their families in Australia. The Guideline will be developed based on both research and consultation with the community. The result will be a set of recommendations to guide the delivery of therapy and support services for children on the autism spectrum and their families.

Adults and young people on the autism spectrum, parents/caregivers and family members of children on the autism spectrum (including adult children), practitioners and service providers with relevant experience are invited to complete an online survey. Please note the survey may take up to 60 minutes to complete if you answer all questions, however for some people it will take as little as 15 minutes.

Responses collected will help shape the development of a national practice guideline for supporting children on the autism spectrum.
