This workshop for educators, therapists and other support staff will explore sensory processing and self-regulation differences for individuals on the spectrum.
Topics will include:
Understanding the sensory processing differences of individuals on the spectrum.
How do the sensory processing differences of individuals on the spectrum affect participation in daily life roles?
What is self-regulation and why is it a more common challenge for individuals on the spectrum?
What can we do to help? A review of evidence-based strategies for school, home and in the community.
This workshop is suitable for Queensland teacher CPD Annual Requirements, Australian Professional Standards for Teaching 1, 3 & 4.
