This interactive webinar for educators, therapists, support staff, parents and carers will explore sensory processing and self-regulation differences for individuals on the autism spectrum.
Topics to be explored will include:
Understanding the sensory processing differences of individuals on the spectrum.
How do the sensory processing differences of individuals on the spectrum affect participation in daily life roles?
What is self-regulation and why is it a more common challenge for individuals on the spectrum?
What can we do to help? A review of evidence-based strategies for school, home and in the community.
Numbers are limited to give participants the opportunity to ask questions throughout the session and join in collaborative discussions with other participants. It is our aim to make this webinar experience as interpersonal as possible. While participants may prefer to use the chat function, we encourage you to interact in person.
