This workshop for parents and carers will explore the topic of sensory processing differences for individuals on the autism spectrum. It will also provide a summary of evidence-based strategies that can be used to support an individual’s participation in daily activities.
The workshop will cover topics including:
What is sensory processing?
What are some common sensory processing differences for individuals on the spectrum?
What are some evidence-based, inclusive strategies that have been found to be helpful for individuals on the spectrum (home, school and community settings)?
How to be an informed consumer (who and where can I seek advice?)
This webinar will be presented on Zoom. You will be emailed a secure login link prior to commencement.
