Starting a new school year is a significant transition for all children and youth. The change in environment, teaching staff, and school expectations can sometimes be a challenge challenging for individuals on the autism spectrum and their family members.
This workshop will present information discuss and practical strategies to assist you to promote a positive start to the school year for your child.
Topics to be covered will include:
Supporting your child to manage feelings of stress associated with the transition to a new school year
Practical strategies to facilitate routine and structure at home
Positive strategies to help you work in partnership with your child’s school team.
Questions and sharing of information/ideas is encouraged and highly desirable to enhance learning outcomes for all.
This webinar will be presented on Zoom. You will be emailed a secure login link prior to commencement.
