PLEASE NOTE THIS COURSE RUNS OVER TWO DAYS - Friday, 5 May & Friday, 16 June (same venue and times). Attendance on both days is compulsory.
A Functional Behaviour Assessment (FBA) is a key component of an individual behaviour support plan. This two-day course will guide participants through the steps necessary for developing an FBA. The facilitator will utilise current research and evidence as well as professional experience to ensure individual behaviour support plans are valid and practical.
Be required to attend both days of the course.
Require access to a client or student for practical data collection and the development of an individual behaviour support plan.
Determine the function of the behaviour of concern and appropriate replacement of alternative behaviours to teach and reinforce
Receive all materials including handouts, tools, templates and links to further information and useful resources.
