This workshop will highlight strategies for inclusion of secondary school students with autism as identified by research, experience and feedback from students and school staff.
Topics to be discussed include:
the characteristics and impacts of ASD
incorporating learning strengths
supporting change and transitions
breaks to sustain learning
the social aspects of learning.
