AQ Board Chair Concludes Service

Autism Queensland extends its sincere thanks to Neil Makepeace (pictured right) who concluded his service as Chair of the Board at the Annual General Meeting on Monday 24 August.

Over nearly nine years as a Board Director, including the past four years as Chair, Neil provided steady leadership, thoughtful governance and unwavering commitment to Autism Queensland’s purpose of empowering autistic people to reach their potential.

During his tenure, AQ navigated significant change, expanded its reach across Queensland, and continued to strengthen its impact for autistic people, families and communities

Neil’s dedication, wisdom and passion for creating positive social outcomes helped guide AQ through an important period in its history. We thank Neil for his remarkable contribution and lasting legacy.
