Autism Advisor Program
This statewide service is a component of the Helping Children with Autism (HCWA) package funded by the Department of Social Services. It provides a link between the clinical diagnosis & access to Early Intervention programs & support services. Read more ►
Comprehensive diagnostic assessments for ASD in children/adolescents/adults are available at the Sunnybank Hills & Brighton Centres. These assessments are an integral part of the diagnostic process. Read more ►
Early Childhood Intervention Services
Early diagnosis followed by structured, individualised early intervention can make a significant difference in the lives of young children diagnosed with ASD. Autism Queensland's team of therapy and education professionals with expertise in ASD deliver early childhood intervention services statewide from our centres in Brisbane, Gladstone, Rockhampton, Mackay and Cairns. Early Intervention Indigenous Liaison Officer Program
A national project hosted by Autism Queensland and funded by Department of Social Services as part of the HCWA program that aims to increase awareness of childhood disability in indigenous families and communities. Read more ►

Information and resources for teachers, parents and carers to assist children with autism to make a smooth transition from early childhood learning into all Queensland schools. Read more ►
SEQ Host Provider Service
A service to children and adults diagnosed with ASD living in South East Queensland as part of the Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services Your Life Your Choice (YLYC) Self-Directed Support Initiative. Read more ►

Our expert staff with experience in ASD can provide assessment and intervention in areas including: communication, behaviour support, sensory processing, motor skills, play skills and more. These services are available through all Autism Queensland centres and statewide as individual face-to-face sessions at all our centres or via webconferencing, in your home, at early childhood settings, schools and other community settings. Autism Queensland's professional learning facilitators have more than 75 years combined experience in the ASD field. Our workshops are delivered around Queensland and are available to parents and other families members who are supporting individuals with ASD. They also deliver Early Days Workshops on behalf of the Department of Social Services for parents of young children on the spectrum or who are going through the assessment and diagnosis process.
