Dom is a values-driven frontline professional who brings integrity, accountability and inclusion to everything they do. Through a person-centred, strengths-based approach, Dom ensures each participant feels respected, supported and empowered to work towards their goals.

As a trusted member of AQ’s therapy team, Dom facilitates engaging and inclusive experiences for adolescents and adults across a range of settings, including therapy groups that use role-playing games such as Dungeons and Dragons to build confidence, connection and skills in a fun, collaborative environment.

Dom’s background in role-playing games led to a recommendation as a potential mentor assisting with AQ’s Allies and Adventures group.  Since then, Dom’s work has expanded across other adult and adolescent groups, bringing thoughtful insight, clear communication and authentic engagement to every session.

“I’ve been with AQ for about three years, and I’ve spent that time in the adult/adolescent group mentor role across a few groups,” Dom said. “It involves helping participants meet their goals in a variety of ways, including running games of Dungeons & Dragons and other role-playing games.”

For Dom, the most rewarding part of the role is the sense of purpose that comes from supporting participants. “It’s been good feeling like I help people every time I come in to work.”
