Therapy Groups

For Adults (18+ Years)

AQ offers evidence-informed therapy groups for adults focusing on key elements including behaviour, developmental and social participation, friendships, daily living skills and more. They are delivered in a safe and welcoming space and designed to meet the needs of our participants.

Our therapy groups are delivered by members of our multidisciplinary team including therapists and neurodivergent mentors. They are offered on a term-by-term basis, or over holiday periods and designed to meet the needs of participants. Groups may focus on key elements including social participation, daily living skills, friendship, relationships, behaviour and more.

The teams delivering our groups will provide opportunities for everyone in our groups to connect, share interests and discuss common experiences in a neurodiversity-affirming environment.

AQ therapy groups can be delivered at all our centres, and some are also available online. Listed below are some of the groups we offer, but many others are possible as we create these groups around the needs, interests and requests of clients.

We encourage everyone interested in knowing more about our therapy groups to submit an enquiry form via the link below.

Please note: Fees* apply to AQ therapy groups and waitlists may apply as some groups may be fully subscribed.

Allies & Adventures (Ft. Dungeons & Dragons®)

A popular role-playing game-based therapy group enabling friendship building and social development.

This therapy group gives participants the opportunity to build friendships and other social developments in a safe, structured, and supportive environment. Participants will be supported by experienced mentors to practice their social and communication skills while enjoying role-playing sessions. They will learn to work as a team, including forming plans and problem-solving, engage in a variety of conversations, and above all, have an enjoyable time with their fellow role-players.

Whilst Dungeons & Dragons® is a popular game amongst participants, this group is not exclusively for those with experience with this game. We encourage and welcome other role-playing games that may be of interest to participants.
