Raising Funds and Awareness at Bendigo Bank’s Italian & Hellenic Business Women’s Network Lunch

Autism Queensland partnered with the Bendigo Bank Italian & Hellenic Business Women's Network Lunch, raising vital funds and awareness for autistic individuals.

On Wednesday 1 March, Autism Queensland had the pleasure of being the charity partner for the Bendigo Bank Italian & Hellenic Business Women’s Network Lunch. The event was held at The Greek Club in South Brisbane, and it was an incredible day filled with inspiring guest speakers, delicious food, and a fantastic opportunity to raise vital funds to continue providing support for autistic individuals.

The Bendigo Bank Italian & Hellenic Business Women’s Network Lunch is an annual event that celebrates the contributions of women in business and raises funds for a worthy cause. This year, Autism Queensland was chosen as the charity partner, and we were thrilled to be involved in such a wonderful event.

The guest speakers at the lunch were truly inspiring, with incredible stories to share. They spoke about their journeys in business, their challenges and successes, and their commitment to making a difference in their communities. It was inspiring to hear from women who have achieved so much and are making such a positive impact in their respective fields.

In addition to the guest speakers, The Greek Club served a delicious three-course meal that showcased the best of Greek & Italian cuisine. A huge thank you to The Greek Club’s hospitality.

But perhaps one of the most rewarding parts of the day for AQ was the opportunity to raise vital funds for Autism Queensland. $10 from every ticket sold was generously donated to our organisation, and a raffle was held to raise additional funds – every single available ticket was sold on the day! Thanks to the generosity of the attendees, we were able to raise a significant amount of money to continue providing support for autistic individuals and their families.

At Autism Queensland, our mission is to help autistic individuals achieve their full potential and lead fulfilling lives. We provide a range of services, including therapy, education, and support programs, to help autistic individuals and their families. Events like the Bendigo Bank Italian & Hellenic Business Women’s Network Lunch are vital in helping us continue to provide these services, and we are incredibly grateful to have been chosen as the charity partner for this year’s event.

We are grateful to everyone who attended and supported AQ, and we look forward to continuing to make a difference in the lives of autistic individuals, their families, and all those who support them. Thank you again to Bendigo Bank, The Greek Club and all of the organisations who generously donated prizes to be included in our raffle on the day.
