Scout Leader Training

Autism Queensland is working with Scouts Queensland to deliver free autism information workshops for their Leaders.

These sessions are designed to meet the needs of your Scout Group and aim to support Scout Leaders to effectively facilitate the inclusion and engagement of autistic children attending Scouts.

They are interactive and participants will leave with an increased knowledge and understanding of autism, practical strategies to assist in effective inclusion of autistic group members, and the confidence to support young people in their local Scout community.

All content has been designed in collaboration with autistic people, including two consultants who work with the project.
