Department of Health Disability Service Plan 2022-2024
On 17 April 2023, the Queensland Department of Health launched the Department of Health Disability Service Plan 2022-2024. The plan sets out to improve access to healthcare and support better health outcomes for people with a disability.
The plan was developed in consultation and engagement with consumers, disability sector advocates, and partnering agencies, and sets out how the Department of Health will work to improve access to healthcare and support better health outcomes for people with disability in Queensland.
It focuses on seven health priority areas supported by 34 individual actions that will deliver improved health access and outcomes for people with disability across the two years of the plan.
Queensland Health is committed to improving healthcare for Queenslanders with disability and establishing health equity for people with disability in access to services and health outcomes.
